Hello and welcome to the sale of this superb Corrado. This car has had just 3 previous keepers, and it would appear from the vehicle's provenance that the first two were father and son for the first 20 odd years, before being sold to another enthusiast who lived in the same town. It has covered 141k miles, which is considerably less than many examples. It has been very well maintained with a comprehensive service history file, comprising a mixture of main dealer and specialist stamps and invoices. I have also just had a full and thorough recommissioning carried out including all filters, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor arm, new rear brake discs and pads, and a cambelt and water pump. The dark metallic blue bodywork is in extremely good condition, with a few tiny light marks here and there but nothing like you might expect. There is no concerning rust issues to the body or underneath. The electric rear tailgate spoiler raises and lowers at speed as it should. The genuine 15" VW alloy wheels are in immaculate condition with excellent tyres all round. The car is completely standard with the exception of a stainless steel exhaust system which was fitted some years ago due to original ones being obsolete. The interior is clean, tidy and complete, with no excessive wear. It retains the original Sony radio cassette, and everything appears to work including the electric sunroof and windows. The simple but effective 2.0 8 valve engine starts well and idles smoothly, and puts it's power down well through the 5 speed manual gearbox. The steering and brakes are responsive and it handles the corners well with no knocks or bangs. To sum up, this is an extremely genuine and honest example of this iconic 90s coupe, they are getting very collectible and very hard to find, particularly in this price bracket, and I am sure the new owner will be very pleased.
